In a 900 m² space, Frida Kahlo’s works come to life in 360°, projected on the floor and walls. All around! Using over 100 video projectors and spatialized sound, the artist’s colors, symbols, and landscapes become a unique visual and sensory experience.

A female voice (in French, Dutch, and English) guides you throughout the journey, telling Frida’s story in her own words, her pain, and her freedom. The narration is smooth and intimate, allowing everyone to tune into her life, even without prior knowledge of her work.

About the Experience

What can I expect at the event? You will immerse yourself in the life and work of the famous Mexican artist Frida Kahlo in Brussels. Her most iconic paintings come to life in a 360° experience at the brand-new VIAGE – Digital Art Theatre in the heart of Brussels.
Where is the experience located?  The event takes place at VIAGE in Brussels. How do I get there?
Is the experience indoors or outdoors? This experience takes place indoors in an air-conditioned room.
How long does the experience last? The experience lasts about 60 to 90 minutes, but you can stay as long as you like.
Will there be food and drinks for sale on site? You can purchase food and drinks at the VIAGE bar, accessible to visitors of the exhibition. Additionally, a special Frida Kahlo smoothie will be available at the VIAGE Chill bar!
Is there parking nearby? The closest parking is Interparking Brussels – Parking De Brouckère, located at rue des Augustins 14/16 · Phone: 02 549 54 10.
Will additional sessions be added? Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee additional dates. Please check the event page for availability and confirmed dates and times.
Is there a dress code? There is no set dress code for this experience. Casual attire is fine.
Will merchandise be available for purchase? Yes, there is a Frida Kahlo SHOP at the end of the immersive journey where you can buy merchandise on site.

About Tickets

Where can I buy tickets?
Can I buy tickets on-site? There will be a ticket office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive. We strongly recommend booking your tickets in advance to secure a time slot. You can buy tickets via the Fever app or website.
Can I pay in cash on-site? We do not accept cash payments. Only bank cards are accepted on site.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else? Yes, you can transfer your tickets free of charge to the person of your choice. Simply click "Transfer Ticket" from your ticket in the Fever app. Please contact us if you need further assistance and provide your ticket ID number.
Do I need to print my ticket? No, your electronic tickets will be validated directly from the Fever app.
I can't find my ticket. What can I do? You can view your ticket in the Fever app under "Tickets." If you haven’t installed the app yet, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Be sure to log in with the same account used to purchase your ticket. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed? All sales are final for this event; tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged, or modified. For more information, see our Terms & Conditions. However, if you purchased a FLEXI option, you may attend at any time on the chosen day or contact us to exchange for another day if necessary. For other tickets, in case of exceptional events (major unforeseen circumstances), you may contact us, and we will do our best to exchange your ticket for another day. Please note that no refunds will be made.
Can I make a group reservation? If you want to book for a group, please write to groups@vivafridakahlo.be specifying your preferred dates and group size.
Can I organize a private event or rent the experience for a group or company (birthday party, corporate event, team building, etc.)? Yes, please contact us at vivafridakahlo.bru@gmail.com.
How can I arrange food and drinks with my booking for a private event? You may bring your own food and drinks into the experience. You can also contact vivafridakahlo.bru@gmail.com, and we will help organize catering for your party or event through our catering service.
Do you offer press passes? Access to the exhibition is not granted by presenting a press pass alone. Do you offer discounts for schools? We offer discounts for schools. You can also get one free ticket for every 8 students (and up to one per group of 10 students) for a supervising teacher. Is there a discount for military personnel and teachers? We do not offer individual discounts for military or teachers. However, specific rates apply for teachers accompanying school groups.
What is the difference between a FLEXI ticket and a standard ticket? Standard tickets include entry to the experience on a specific date and time slot. FLEXI tickets allow you to attend at any time on the chosen day. Important: If you have a FLEXI ticket, please check the opening dates and hours of the immersive experience.

About Accessibility

Do I need to arrive at the session time on my ticket? We recommend arriving at the time indicated on your ticket, but you can arrive within 30 minutes afterward.
Are animals allowed? Are guide dogs permitted? Unfortunately, animals are not allowed on site. However, guide dogs are welcome.
Is the venue accessible to people with reduced mobility? Yes, the event is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Are there prohibited items? Can I smoke or vape?

For the safety and comfort of everyone, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Weapons of any kind (including replicas or sharp objects)
  • Drugs and illegal substances
  • Food and drinks from outside

Anyone violating these rules may be refused entry or expelled without refund. Thank you for your understanding.

Are companion tickets available for visitors needing assistance? Yes, visitors requiring assistance may be accompanied free of charge. The companion does not need a ticket in advance and can present themselves to staff on the day of the visit to gain free entry.
Is the experience accessible to hearing-impaired or visually impaired persons? Hearing-impaired persons can fully enjoy the experience, which is primarily visual and supported by clear signage. For visually impaired visitors, much of the exhibition relies on imagery, but all are welcome: the path is accompanied by narration and immersive music.
Will there be strobe lights? The experience includes 360° moving projections. If you are sensitive to such effects, please inform our staff upon arrival.
Will chairs be available during the experience? Are there places to sit? This experience is a walk-through, but don't worry: poufs and deckchairs will be available in the immersive room, as well as seats at the end of the path to rest.
Are toilets available on site? Toilets will be available on site. Please ask the staff for directions.
Can I use my camera or video recorder during the experience? Feel free to take photos and share them. Please be mindful not to disturb other visitors while photographing. Professional equipment and tripods are not allowed.
Is there a lost and found? We recommend asking the staff on site if your belongings have been found. If you cannot ask them directly, please contact us at vivafridakahlo.bru@gmail.com.
Is there a cloakroom? No cloakroom is available on site.
Is there a minimum age? There is no minimum age required to participate. The venue is stroller accessible. Children under 4 enter free.
From what age can children participate without adult supervision? From age 12.
Is there an audio guide? Unfortunately, this experience does not include an audio guide, but part of the path features audio narration and immersive music to immerse you in Frida Kahlo’s world.
